Michelle Williams Checks Out the Spirit Awards

Making her arrival at Santa Monica Pier, Michelle Williams stepped out for the 2009 Film Independent's Spirit Awards on Saturday evening (February 21).

The "Brokeback Mountain" beauty enjoyed the casual atmosphere, dressed in a simple-yet-sexy sleeveless striped ensemble while matching her maroon handbag and heels.

Meanwhile, Miss Williams recently explained that she still doesn't feel ready to jump into a new movie project after the emotional roller coaster following Heath Ledger's death.

She tells Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper, "I felt burnt out. I still feel that, but I'm coming back to my wits, little by little. But ultimately I am not yet ready to work. I've actually really been enjoying not working. I guess everybody enjoys that."
