The son of Michael Douglas was sent back into federal prison on Wednesday after being accused of violating house-arrest rules when his girlfriend snuck him heroin – and Michael is “devastated.”
"The family is devastated and very disappointed in Cameron's recent behavior,” said a statement that was released from the actor and ex-wife Diandra Douglas.
Cameron Douglas, 30, was brought home from detention at his mother Diandra’s place in Manhattan to the Metropolitan Correctional Center downtown after the incident. Girlfriend, 31-year-old Kelly Scott, was caught Monday for attempting to sneak in 19 bags of heroin, which she hid in an electric toothbrush.
Douglas was previously arrested for selling a half-pound of crystal meth to a federal drug informant.
