Mel Gibson Gets Snippy

It’s no secret that he’s had a bit of an embarrassing and controversial past, but that doesn’t mean Mel Gibson ever wants to talk about it again.

During a recent interview to promote his new movie “Edge of Darkness,” the “Lethal Weapon” stud got a little cranky with Chicago reporter Dean Richards when he asked about some of his indiscretions.

Richards tossed out the question, “Do you think the public will perceive you any differently after all that’s been in the news about you?” referring to his 2006 DUI/anti-semetic slurs.

Visibly irritated, Gibson replied, “That’s almost four years ago, dude. I’ve done all the necessary mea culpas. Let’s move on.”
