Mario Lopez Celebrates 35th Birthday in Vegas

Keeping things casual with jeans and a black top, Mario Lopez struck a few poses on the red carpet as he arrived at his birthday bash on Friday night (October 3).

Held at The Bank nightclub at Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Lopez opted to ring in his 35th a week early - as his actual birthday happens to be October 10th.

In related news, the "Saved By The Bell" hunk has also been busy with literature - as he has written a new children's book called "Mud Taco" with his sister Marissa.

Of the book, a source told press, "For fun, he and Marissa would make tacos out of mud in the backyard, substituting worms for cheese, grass for lettuce and mud for meat. Mario would dare Marissa to eat one, but she’d refuse. Now they’re writing a book about it to teach children to be strong and creative.”

Life & Style magazine reports tell that Mario and Marissa's book is scheduled to be released next year (2009).
