Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff's Beach Lovin'

Cute couple Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff enjoyed some time at the beach in Miami, Florida on Sunday (May 25).

Taking a break from promoting his new book Knockout Fitness, Mario tossed around a football with his Dancing with the Stars girlfriend on his shoulders - trying to do the "Dirty Dancing" lift to no avail.

Continuing with their beach frolicking, Karina then had a wardrobe malfunction while falling face first into the water. By the time the two were finished, Karina sported a big bruise on her thigh.

During a recent book signing in Chicago, Mario was asked about the level of the two's relationship, replying: "We don't like to talk about our personal life [but] you know, she's a great girl, partner and teacher."
