Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Are Married

In the latest installment of celebrities rushing to the altar, there are confirmed reports that Mariah Carey has wed her short-lived boyfriend Nick Cannon.

According to Latina magazine, the newlyweds got hitched in a small ceremony on an island yesterday in a move that insiders are calling “very impulsive.”

And Cannon’s ex-fiancé Selita Ebanks served to corroborate the story, telling press, “I have no comment but wish them well.”

The whole romance began less than two months ago when the rapper/actor directed the video for Carey’s latest single, “Bye Bye.” From there, Nick attended the premiere of Mariah’s film “Tennessee” earlier this week.

The “Always Be My Baby” songstress was quoted as saying that it was “very nice” to work with Nick, and when he was asked what he loved about her, Cannon simply replied, “Everything!”
