Madonna's Horseback Riding Injury

Giving everyone quite the scare, Madonna was rushed off to a New York hospital after falling from a horse while in South Hampton, NY on Saturday (April 18).

The incident reportedly occurred as a result of the horse being startled by paparazzi activity while Madge was riding at the home of her photographer pal Steven Klein.

"The accident occurred when the horse Madonna was riding was startled by paparazzi who jumped out of the bushes to photograph the singer, who was visiting friends on Eastern Long Island over the weekend," Madonna's rep Liz Rosenberg told press. "Madonna will be having further tests and will continue to remain under observation by doctors."

The Material Girl has since been released after being treated for "minor injuries and bruises."

Prior to the trip to Klein's house, Madonna spent time reunited with her model boytoy Jesus Luz, as the pair visited the Kabbalah Centre with Lourdes Leon, Rocco Ritchie and David Banda in tow.
