Madonna: Still Trying for Adoption in Malawi

As an update to the Gossip Girls story on Madonna's adoption denial earlier today (April 3), it sounds like the “Material Girl” songstress is still holding out hope.

According to a report, Madge plans to take further action to appeal the decision handed down this morning by the Malawian judge.

Her attorney informed the Associated Press that he has “filed notice for appeal in the Supreme Court of Appeal,” though there’s no new court date set as of yet.

This morning Judge Esmie Chondo ruled, “I must have to decline to grant the application to Madonna.” He cited that prospective parents must reside in the country for 1.5-2 years prior to the adoption.
