Madonna: From the Kabbalah Center to Michigan

Looking healthier than she did just one short week ago, Madonna was spotted out with daughter Lourdes Leon for their weekly Friday visit to the Kabbalah Center in New York City last night (August 1).

The Material Girl received some flack over photos in which she looked worse for the wear, to which her rep responded by saying: "I just think the photographer got a bad shot of her or it was touched up to make her look bad. I saw Madonna two days before at her rehearsal and she looked amazing — glowing skin and working really hard on her show."

Meanwhile, Madonna is now situated in her home state of Michigan, as she's set to make an appearance at the Traverse City Film Festival founded by her pal Michael Moore.

According to AP reports, Madge is going to be introducing her documentary "I Am Because We Are" before a screening held later tonight. The movie focuses on the orphans of Malawi, the African nation where she and husband Guy Ritchie adopted their son, David Banda.
