Lily Allen: The Calm Before the Storm

She’s getting ready to take over the pop music world once again with a killer comeback in 2009. And Lily Allen has been closing out 2008 with some rest and relaxation to recharge her batteries.

The “Smile” songstress was spotted over the holidays with her mother living it up in the Caribbean island of Jamacia, swimming, sunning, and tossing off her top.

An onlooker told press, “Lily looked absolutely fabulous. Her mum also looked great but it was Lily who was turning heads.”

Allen is on the brink of releasing her sophomore album It’s Not You, It’s Me on February 9th, with a subsequent tour and plenty of promotional appearances along the way.

And she’s already stirring up controversy- her cover of Britney Spears “Womanizer” was already leaked on the internet after Mark Ronson played it on a radio show.
