Leonardo DiCaprio Gets International Green Film Award

He’s always been interested in using his celebrity for good causes, and last night Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted at the 8th Annual Cinema for Peace gala at the 59th Berlin International Film Festival.

The “Blood Diamond” stud was spotted arriving on the red carpet ouside Konzerthaus Gendarmenmarkt, sporting a black overcoat along with a black suit, black necktie, and white button-up shirt.

Once inside, DiCaprio was spotted with his mother Irmeline as he schmoozed with gala guests including Lukas Haas and Pink Floyd legend Roger Waters.

Leo accepted the International Green Film Award, which honors filmmakers’ achievements on environmental issues, for his documentary “The 11th Hour,” presented by Hans Reiner Schroeder and Mikhail Gorbachev.
