Lauren Conrad: Surprised By Her Own Success

Stepping out into the summer sunshine, MTV reality star Lauren Conrad was spotted out visiting with a friend a few houses away from her Los Angeles pad on Tuesday (July 8).

Wearing a purple tanktop with matching fringed Gladiator sandals, the 22-year-old star of "The Hills" looked oh-so-cute as she chatted it up for a short while before heading back home.

Meanwhile, with Season 4 of her hit reality show set to start airing in next month (Aug 2008) with 19 new episodes, LC recently spoke about how amazed she is at the longevity of her television career.

Talking to L.A. Direct, Conrad said that she had no idea she’d make it this far because “I always say this isn’t what I signed up for. I thought I signed up for a one-episode documentary.”
