Lauren Conrad: Moving Up In the World of Fashion

Keeping things casual in sweats and a tank top, Lauren Conrad was all about taking care of errands on what was a beautiful Wednesday (August 6) in Hollywood, California.

The MTV reality starlet first grabbed up her morning iced coffee drink from Coffee Bean before popping into Whole Foods for a bit of shopping with a friend.

On the way out, LC took a moment to sign up for a environmental poll before heading back to her house. After dropping off her purchases, "The Hills" hottie then headed for Runyon Canyon to walk her dog "Chloe" with her roomie/co-star Lauren "Lo" Bosworth and another female friend.

Meanwhile, in related news, it was just announced that Lauren has landed a gig designing "a couture gown for the women handing out statuettes at the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards."

"I am so excited that the Academy has asked me to design a dress for this year’s Emmy Awards," LC said in a statement released earlier today. "I will be doing a red carpet look that still reflects the simple classic design of the Lauren Conrad Collection but with a black tie twist."
