Kid Rock Ditches Plans Because of Pam

There’s nothing like enjoying a romantic night out and having your ex come in an ruin everything. That’s what happened to Kid Rock this past week. He was dining with his hottie May Andersen and Brit singer James Blunt and Victoria Silvstedt when Pam Anderson walked in.

The celebrity dinner was taking place at Baoli during the Cannes Film Festival. When Pamela walked in, Kid walked out. "All of a sudden," says a witness, "Kid is like, 'Let's go, let's go!' He grabs May and pulls her out, and they leave right away. Kid Rock freaks out, and I've never seen him like that in my life. He left James Blunt there!"

To make matters worse, model Marcus Schenkenberg, another Pamela Anderson ex, ratted Rock out. "He told her Kid Rock was in the building, and she got upset. Marcus said, 'Yeah, and I think he's going to leave because you're here.' Then she got on her BlackBerry and started texting somebody — she was so mad that he would leave to avoid her."

Seems like Kid’s not over his ex-wife. But there was plenty of partying after dinner to help him forget his troubles. He reconnected with James Blunt at an after party. There were drinks and strippers, both business as usual for Rock.

The Cannes Film Festival runs for the rest of this week, into the weekend. We’ll have all the drama and dirt as celebrities mix and mingle.
