Katy Perry: Skipped Over by Santa Claus

Touching down in the States just ahead of the Christmas holiday, Katy Perry was spotted making her way through Los Angeles International Airport in Los Angeles, California on Thursday (December 24).

The "Hot N Cold" singer was greeted by security staffers before being escorted though the terminal following a long flight from London, where she spent time with her comedian beau, Russell Brand.

Meanwhile, Miss Perry was among those sending holiday cheer to her fans via her Twitter account, writing, "MERRY CHRISTMAS/HAPPY HOLIDAYS everyone. Wishing everyone health and happiness and a wonderful 2010! Love you twats."

Up bright and early on Christmas morning, Katy jokingly added, "It's 5am & still no sign of Santa. I have 2 chimneys & a cat door?! I mean... sorry i didn't put out ur milk and cookies u were getting FAT."
