Katie Holmes: Movie Making in Melbourne

Spending another day on the set of her new movie “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark,” Katie Holmes was spotted hanging out in Melbourne, Australia today (July 8).

The “Dawson’s Creek” darling looked a bit pensive as she strolled around the lot with her bodyguard, sporting a black button-up shirt with khaki trousers and black flats.

In related news, Ms. Holmes is teaming up with Adam Shankman, director of “Hairspray,” and Nigel Lythgoe from "So You Think You Can Dance" and Carrie Ann Inaba from "Dancing With The Stars;" to launch a dance scholarship fund for the less fortunate.

Katie told press, "I think it's important to let kids experience music and dance. Every child should have the opportunity to discover what it is they like and have access to the very best in that pursuit."
