Katie Holmes and Suri Hop on a Helicopter

She’s been giving it her all as of late, preparing for a monumental moment in her acting career with a spot on Broadway. And yesterday (August 10) Katie Holmes needed a break.

The “Mad Money” mommy was spotted with her daughter Suri boarding a helicopter at a New York City heliport, probably heading out to see her husband Tom Cruise, as he was not with them.

Taking a break from wearing her hubby’s jeans, Holmes looked sleek and chic in a black pants suit with oversized black sunglasses, while Suri sported a pink dress with gold shoes.

Katie won’t be gone for long, though. She has a bit more rehearsing to do before “All My Sons” opens to preview audiences on September 18th!
