Katharine McPhee: Glamour Girl

Stepping out for a swanky evening, Katharine McPhee was spotted at the Glamour Magazine 2009 Women of the Year Honors last night (November 9).

The “American Idol” alum looked lovely as she arrived at Carnegie Hall in New York City, sporting a lilac-colored halter-style dress with black belt and black clutch.

In a recent interview, Ms. McPhee explained that she and her actor-producer husband Nick Cokas have had a great 21 months of wedded bliss, though her career has presented some challenges.

“Marriage is definitely not easy. I’ve never met anyone who said marriage was easy. He actually travels with me.” Katharine also noted that since her new album comes out in January, they’ll be taking it easy this holiday season. "Since next year looks like it's going to be busy, I'll try to get as much rest as possible."
