Kate Winslet Presented Montecito Award

Continuing along on the road to the Oscars, Kate Winslet was on hand for the 24th Annual Santa Barbara Film Festival in Santa Barbara, California on Friday night (January 23).

The "Titanic" temptress lit up the Arlington Theatre, wearing a sexy black body-hugging dress with white accents, her hair loosely pulled back in a knot and minimal makeup.

As for the reason behind her appearance, Miss Winslet was presented with the fest's Montecito Award, with a stirring tribute moderated by Leonard Maltin following.

Meanwhile, the always-lovely Penelope Cruz is on the docket to be honored tonight - as she'll be receiving the Outstanding Performer of the Year Award.
