Kate Walsh's "Private Practice" Gets Extension

It seems as if Kate Walsh
finally got a much-needed day off from filming ABC’s “Private Practice," as the actress was seen running some errands, catching up with a friend in Santa Monica, as well as making a quick stop to fill up for gas with her red Range Rover on Tuesday (October 21).

For the daytime outing, the 41-year-old actress looked stylish while wearing a cream colored blouse with flare jeans matched with a Chanel purse and an adorable pair of heels.

And it seems as if she won’t have much more free time, since Walsh’s “Grey’s Anatomy” spinoff “Private Practice” has just been picked up for another full season. The ABC drama is at the top of sophomore shows that were put on halt due to the writers’ strike, and although the shows have returned, many of the viewers have dropped this year.

Nonetheless, “Private Practice” managed to maintain the highest rating of the group. The show is the most recent network series to get a full-season on air, following NBC’s “Knight Rider” and “Chuck,” CBS’s “The Mentalist,” Fox’s “Fringe” and “Termantor: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" and CW's "90210."
