Kate Hudson and Ryder: Santa Monica Pier Pals

Treating her boy to a fun-filled evening outing, Kate Hudson and Ryder checked out Cirque du Soleil on the Santa Monica pier on Tuesday (November 24).

The "Fool's Gold" actress proudly toted her growing son in her arms as the pair were spotted leaving the scenic venue with friends following the dazzling circus display.

Meanwhile, Kate has been busy as of late promoting her new movie, "Nine," in which she gets to show off her vocal abilities - something that didn't phase her due to her love of singing for fun.

"People who know me know that I'm the annoying person at the party who always sings. I just can't help it. I sing the national anthem, anything. Now I guess my secret is out," she said.
