As her ex-husband Jon was busy dealing with an apartment break-in, Kate Gosselin was spotted enjoying the holidays at home in Reading, Pennsylvania on Saturday afternoon (December 26).

Following the family's Christmas day festivities, the TLC reality star mom anxiously awaited the arrival of bodyguard Steve Neild and his family for a relaxing meal together.

The post-Christmas get-together came just days after news broke telling that Kate was dropped from a pilot which she had been signed to star in alongside Paula Dean, Lee Woodruff and Rene Syler.

According to Radar Online, Momlogic dumped Miss Gosselin after dubbing her as being too controversial for the chat show.
