Kate Gosselin Answers Her Fans Questions
Kate Gosselin answered “any and all reasonable questions” on a Monday episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8, including rebutting that her renewed vows in Hawaii with Jon were staged, the kids are okay on the show, and she has left the door open for remarriage.
But even though all the television has brought on a dark side, the mom wants to stay in the eye of the public even when the show ends.
"I've done enough years on TV that I feel like it's a normal, comfortable, natural place to be," she said. "I'd love to be in a movie at some point, I'd love to be the voice of a cartoon character in a movie for my kids. I think that would be fun."
When asked about remarriage, she says, "To be honest, I don't know. I really don't want to be married again, but I don't want to be alone. The alone-ness is really alone."
As far as the media, Kate said it is hard to maintain friendships. She says that the fame doesn’t harm the children, although her ex husband Jon claims it will and is trying to end the show.
"They're not suffering from this," she said. "The fact that they have these different experiences they need to handle is only going to help them in life."
She was also asked if all the craziness of having eight kids and going through a public nasty divorce makes her lose her cool.
"Hello, have you seen out show?" she asked. "Yes, I do flip out." But she also added that she’s realized that her emotional problems come more from her current problems then the situation at hand.”
As far as the two additions to the family - the dogs, she said she made the decision to give them back to a trainer because she just has too much with the kids and would bring the back if things calmed down again.
"I knew the dogs needed more than I could give them," she said. "Are they gone forever? I'm hoping not."
