Justin Timberlake: No Courtroom Favoritism
All too often celebrities are forced to take legal action in order to protect themselves against harassing fans, and the latest case involves Justin Timberlake.
Today, the “Cry Me a River” singer’s lawyer is trying to get a temporary restraining order upped to permanent against Karen McNeil - who has been stalking him.
However, LA County Superior Court Judge David Cunningham has just informed JT’s lawyer, Marty Singer, that in order to go through with his request, Justin must be present to personally testify.
The reasoning? Judge Cunningham says it's unfair to make a common working man appear in court but not a high-profile type who has a high-paying gig.
Singer was ordered to get in touch with Timberlake and have him on stand-by.
