Jon Voight: Elated to Spend Time with Angelina

They’ve had their ups and downs as father and daughter, but it sounds like Angelina Jolie and Jon Voight have patched things up, once and for all.

After Voight joined daughter Jolie, her partner Brad Pitt and their six children for a boat ride on the Grand Canal in Venice Italy, the “Pride and Glory” actor told Us magazine, "I love the possibility of spending time with the family. It's a very beautiful thing."

Of the boat ride with his once estranged child, 71-year-old Jon added, "It's nice to have something that's positive!"

He also told that the Grand Canal was “lovely…the weather wasn’t too bad for the journey. It’s a very beautiful trip. A lot of fun.”

When asked if Brad and Angelina were doing fine, Voight simply responded, “Exactly right. Of course they are! You can see!”
