Red-hot heartthrob, Johnny Depp is back on the set. Principal photography has begun in London on 'Sweeney Todd,' pairing the quirky actor with his longtime collaborator, director Tim Burton.
Depp plays the main character in the film, which is a screen adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's macabre musical about a vengeful London barber in 19th-century London, according to CBS reports.
This marks the sixth time that Depp and Burton have joined forces, with past movies including: 'Corpse Bride,' 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,' 'Ed Wood,' 'Edward Scissorhands' and 'Sleepy Hollow.'
Depp and Burton's latest venture also stars Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, Sacha Baron Cohen (aka Borat) and Christopher Lee.
Something to look forward to... all the stars will do their own singing for the film, which is scheduled for a late 2007 release.
