John Mayer's Dating Hiatus

He claims to be taking a step back in the dating world these days, at least that’s what John Mayer told Ellen DeGeneres.

The 32-year-old musician tells Ellen, “I don’t know if you know this, but I have sort of a funny track record. Which is actually not that strange given my age. I’m a little freaked out right now about it, to be honest.”

In the past, Mayer has been romantically linked to Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

He continued, “I have a good heart. I think I may have gotten lost a couple of times, but so does everybody. I’m just going to hunker down. 2010 is a peaceful year for me, no matter what I do.”
