As a follow-up to a breaking report about the sudden passing of John Travolta’s 16-year-old-son Jett, recent updates tell that it was a seizure which caused the child's death.
Family lawyer Michael Ossi informed press that Jett suffered a seizure at his family's vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island.
While there were attempts to revive the young boy, who is said to have hit his head on the bathtub, he apparently died at the scene.
From this point, the body is expected to be transferred to the Restview Memorial Mortuary and Crematorium in the Bahamas.
Update: According to AP reports, a house caretaker was the one who found Jett unconscious in a bathroom late this morning (January 2). He was taken by ambulance to a Freeport hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to a statement from chief police superintendent Basil Rahming. Travolta's boy had last been seen making his way into the bathroom on Thursday and had a history of seizures, according to the statement. Local authorities are planning an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
