We spotted her leaving LAX and landing in NYC early yesterday, and we’ve caught up with Jessica Simpson, who has been gallivanting around the Big Apple.

The “Dukes of Hazzard” actress was seen with her mother, Tina, and her BFF/hairstylist Ken Paves leaving their hotel and arriving at the swanky Waverly Inn for dinner last night.

Jess wore a half-jacket over a thin white sweater and some sexy jeans as she, and her little entourage, made her way through Manhattan’s SoHo district,

On a related note, the “With You” singer recently received some support from Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria regarding the poor treatment she’s received from Dallas Cowboys fans.

Eva told press, "I felt for her because I've been through that and I was always blamed for Tony's bad games. That's the life of an athlete's woman. Believe me, they're not thinking of us on the court or the field or wherever they are."
