Jessica Simpson: Back in the Big Apple

Following a weekend appearance at the CMA Music Festival and a quick trip to Dallas, Texas, Jessica Simpson was once again flying the friendly skies - this time making her way to New York City.

Wearing her Cowboys cap, the Dukes of Hazzard hottie was helped out of her ride by the chauffeur, trying her best to avoid photographers upon arrival to a luxury Big Apple hotel.

In related news, Jessica's father, Joe Simpson, recently lashed back at reports that his controlling and manipulative ways led to his daughter's rumored split with Dallas quarterback Tony Romo back in May.

“The media says that I try to plan everything - If I had half of the power they give me…They [Ashlee and Jessica] don’t call me and ask me. They call me and tell me,” Joe tells.

He added, "Jessica is as happy as I’ve seen her in years.”
