Jessica Alba's Happy Over "Normal" Role

When you’re a superstar like Jessica Alba, airports are a part of everyday life. The “Dark Angel” babe was spotted milling around Los Angeles’ LAX airport on Sunday, looking a bit bashful.

She was with her mother, who kept holding Jess’ hand and putting her arm around her, as if to shield her from the prying lenses of the paparazzi.

And though her new film “Awake” only grossed $6 million on its opening weekend, Alba says it was nice having a “normal” role for a change. In “Dark Angel” as well as the “Fantastic Four” movies, she ended up with superhero roles- not so with “Awake.”

Jessica told press, "I really liked not having to play a superhero. I didn't have to do any action scenes; I didn't have to dance; I didn't have to scuba dive."
