Jersey Shore Cast: Back for Second Season!

After garnering much success during their first year on television, the cast of "Jersey Shore" will be back in action for a second season!

With MTV announcing the news late Friday night, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and the rest of the gang will be shooting twelve more episodes set to begin airing this summer.

The announcement of the deal comes after the most difficult task was completed - as all of the cast members agreed to terms after weeks of salary negotiations.

Tony DiSanto, MTV’s president of programming, told in a statement:"Our audience has fallen in love with Jersey Shore and its amazing cast who have really grown together as a family. That bond gives the show its heart, and we’re thrilled to reunite these friends."
