Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ross McCall: Splitsville

They've been engaged for some time now but kept putting off their nuptials. And now, it's being reported that Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ross McCall have called it quits.

"They broke up over the holidays and have ended their engagement," an insider close to the couple told People magazine.

Continuing on, the source adds, "They're both really sad about this. Even their friends are surprised; they seemed really happy. Everyone just wants the best for both of them."

Unwilling to comment on the personal life of a client, the "Ghost Whisperer" star's rep refused to immediately answer questions on the matter.
