Jennifer Lopez Sings For Wal-Mart Elite
There was the usual glitz and glamor at Wal-Mart's annual shareholder meeting in Arkansas yesterday (June 1). "This is like going to the Wal-Mart Oscars," event host Sinbad quipped to applause. And the funny thing is, the comedian wasn't joking.
The high-class meeting had moments that rivaled the star-studded Academy Awards. Aside from financial matters and forecasts, Jennifer Lopez and the latest American Idol product, Jordin Sparks, entertained the nearly 15,000 strong crowd of stockholders and store employees.
"This is my first performance since (American Idol)," Sparks told the crowd in attendance at the Bud Walton Arena.
After Jordin's turn at the stage, J Lo performed songs from her new album, Como Ama una Mujer, with the crowd cheering her on. Lopez even pulled double duty by singing in Spanish, followed up by an English version.
