Jennifer Hudson's Stirring Super Bowl Performance

Performing for the very first time since her unthinkable family tragedy last year, Jennifer Hudson sang her heart out at Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa on Sunday evening (February 1).

Clad in a white top, cropped jacket and leggings with gold jewelry, the 27-year-old "American Idol" star walked out before the game - being led up onto a small round stage where she took a deep breath before launching into the National Anthem.

Upon completing her breathtaking performance, Miss Hudson pumped her fist over her head to cheers from the audience as military planes flew overhead.

Prior to Jennifer's go at the stage during the pre-game festivities, 41-year-old country star Faith Hill offered up a strong rendition of “America the Beautiful”.
