Jennifer Hudson Scores Super Bowl Gig

It’s one of the biggest events of the year in professional sports, and this year’s Super Bowl will be graced with the voice of Jennifer Hudson.

The “Dreamgirls” singer/actress has been booked to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” on February 1st at the Tampa, Florida event.

The Super Bowl gig will be the first public performance for Miss Hudson since her mother, brother, and nephew were tragically murdered in Chicago this past October.

After she sings at the Super Bowl, Jennifer will be gearing up to sing the songs of Neil Diamond at the MusiCares Person of the Year gala in LA on February 6th.
