Jennifer Garner: Doting Mother

Tending to her all-important motherly duties, Jennifer Garner was spotted picking up daughter Violet Affleck from school on Tuesday afternoon (December 16).

Expecting her second baby in the coming weeks, the "Juno" actress struggled to keep her sweater down over her growing baby bump as the mother/daughter duo made their way to the car.

During the course of the day, Jennifer also teamed up with a gal pal to stop in at the Lakeshore Learning Materials store, as she chipped away at her Christmas shopping.

Meanwhile, Jen's actor hubby Ben Affleck recently spoke with press about his holiday wishes, saying: "The health of my family is probably what I want for Christmas."

Changing subjects to talk about a new film he directed for the UN (United Nations) which follows the plight of refugees in the Congo, Affleck told Access Hollywood: "I made a film for the UN. It's an issue that I care a lot about which is what's going on in the Congo. So, I made this film for the UNHCR, which is the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.

"I really am passionate about the humanitarian situation in the Congo, so I made a film about refugees - kind of centered around what's happening in the Congo. I'm screening it at the UN on December 17, as the opening to a discussion that they're doing there about refugees," the "Good Will Hunting" hunk adds.
