Jennifer Garner and Violet Affleck: School Days

Always one to take care of her motherly duties, Jennifer Garner was spotted taking daughter, Violet Affleck, to school earlier today (March 25) in Santa Monica.

The mother/daughter duo walked hand-in-hand, with mama Jen looking Cali comfortable in a grey top paired with jeans and New Balance tennis shoes, while little Violet sported a grey and white dress matched with Mary Jane style slip-ons.

In movie news, Jen has a romantic comedy coming out called “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past” which offers a new take on Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol and involves a womanizer, played by Matthew McConaughey, who is haunted by his girlfriends of the past, present and future.

The film hits theaters May 1st, 2009.
