Jennifer Aniston: Smiling at the Sunset Tower Hotel

Enjoying an evening out with a gal pal, Jennifer Aniston offered up a smile on her way out of the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood on Monday night (October 20).

According to a source on-hand, the former "Friends" actress spent about two hours inside the establishment, with on/off lover John Mayer nowhere to be seen.

As for rumors of a rekindled romance following three dinner dates between Aniston and Mayer, insiders are offering up details as to how the "Why Georgia?" singer won the "Rumor Has It" babe back.

A source tells: "John has even written a song about their time together and played it to Jennifer who was incredibly touched. He initially called things off because he didn't feel ready for commitment."

But after going without Miss Aniston, it appears as if John's ready to get serious. "Determined to show he's changed, John has cut right back on his drinking and has pledged to quit smoking roll-up cigarettes - two things that really annoyed Jennifer," the insider reveals.
