Jamie Lynn Spears Is Pregnant

Following in her troubled sister's footsteps, Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant at the age of 16.

The Zoey 101 star recently told OK! magazine that she's expecting and planning to go through with the pregnancy. Taking the story out of rumor stage, Nickelodeon confirmed the reports by releasing a statement in support of their young actress.

"We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."

The father of the baby is said to be Jamie Lynn's longtime boyfriend, Casey Aldridge, who's the son of a Tennessee papermill worker. The couple first met at church.
