Heidi and Spencer: Steering Clear of Swine Flu

They were finally officially married this past weekend, and during their ‘pre-honeymoon’ in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are taking precautions to guard against catching the swine flu.

During a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest this morning, Spencer revealed, “[We’re] wearing face masks everywhere we go. We’re in isolation, we’re in full hiding.”

And with the staggering numbers of people being affected by the outbreak (149 are dead in Mexico) Heidi added that they’re not taking any chances. “Every second we’re washing our hands.”

As for their ‘real’ honeymoon, Spencer speculated, "I think we’re discussing with MTV going to Tahiti or Fiji, somewhere tropical and exciting. We'll see. Since it is a recession, we might just be going to Santa Monica Beach!"
