Gerard Butler Does Carnival

Always up for a good time, Gerard Butler was spotted out in Rio de Janeiro for the Carnival festivities on Saturday (February 13).

The "Law Abiding Citizen" stud joined up with former "300" co-star and local boy Rodrigo Santoro four years after the two faced off in the cult action flick.

During the course of the day, Butler joined Santoro to walk though the festive Carnival crowds, including some excited female fans, having a lively chat before Gerard returned to his room in the Copacabana Palace Hotel.

The sighting comes as Gerard recently put himself up for bid to go on a dinner date with a lucky raffle winner for charitable purposes.

“Gerard Butler Dot Net is giving YOU the opportunity to ENJOY a DATE with GERARD BUTLER,” an announcement on his Wen site explained, telling that proceeds will go to the Kids Kicking Cancer contest with the winner being chosen later today (February 14).
