Extras Injured On Tom Cruise's New Movie
On Sunday, during the filming of a scene in Tom Cruise's upcoming movie Valkyrie, eleven extras received minor injuries when they fell out of a moving truck.
According to local police, the incident occurred when a bolt on the side panel of a truck came loose as it was turning, catapulting the actors out of the vehicle.
The Mission Impossible stud wasn't on the set when the accident occurred, and it's assumed that he was spending time with his wife Katie Holmes. Katie happens to be on location with her man in Germany, along with daughter Suri.
As for the movie, Valkyrie is a recreation of the failed attempt by elements of the Germany army to overthrow the Nazi party by assassinating Hitler.
Tom takes on the role of Col. Claus Graf Schenk von Stauffenberg, a ringleader of the revolt and the individual identified as the soldier that placed the bomb at the conference table that failed to kill Hitler.
