Eva Longoria: Philanthropist of the Year

She’s no stranger to swanky awards shindigs, and last night (November 16) Eva Longoria was spotted at the Hollywood Reporter’s Philanthropist of the Year Award Reception.

The “Desperate Housewives” hottie looked lovely as she arrived at the BOA Sunset in West Hollywood, sporting a shimmery red one-shoulder dress with beige heels.

And Ms. Longoria was the guest of honor at the prestigious event, as she was named Hollywood Reporter’s Philanthropist of the Year for her work with children’s charities.

Publisher Eric Mika told press, "I've never met a more conscientious and socially aware young, energetic talent. Eva's efforts on behalf of the causes near and dear to her are Herculean. She pours her free time and energy into raising millions of dollars for charitable missions that make a difference in the Latino community and other humanitarian organizations."
