Emma Watson Premieres "The Tales of Despereaux"

Overseas to promote her brand new movie, "Harry Potter" actress Emma Watson attended the Los Angeles premiere of her new animated movie, "The Tale of Despereaux," held at the Archlight Hollywood Theatre on Sunday (December 7).

Looking elegant as she posed for photographers on the red carpet, the 18-year-old actress hammed it up alongside co-stars Matthew Broderick and Dustin Hoffman, as well as Despereaux the mouse, before making her way in for the screening.

Of her new flick, Emma recently told MTV: “I read the script, and I just loved it. It was so charming. I fell in love with Despereaux, so I really didn’t have a choice. I had to be his princess.”

The film, which also co-stars Sigourney Weaver and Christopher Lloyd, makes its way into theaters in a little less than two weeks on December 19th.
