It’s an age-old tradition. When a woman marries a man usually she’ll change her last name to his in order to symbolize their union. And believe it or not, Demi Moore is finally getting around to changing her last name to that of her husband, Ashton Kutcher.
It only took two years, and now Demi is officially a Kutcher. Her revised last name will reportedly appear on her driver’s license and credit cards.
And sources say that the change from Moore to Kutcher was merely a gesture from Demi to Ashton. "Demi did this for Ashton. She knew that this was something he wanted, so she finally made the switch."
A source told press, “Demi will be Mrs. Kutcher on her black American Express card, her passport and other official documents, but the actress will keep her name from her first marriage to Freddie Moore for all her professional endeavors.”
