He’s one of the hottest soccer players in the world today, and yesterday (April 15) Cristiano Ronaldo led his Manchester United squad to victory over FC Porto, 1-0.

Scoring the only goal of the game, Ronaldo sunk a 40-meter shot inside the top corner of Porto’s goal, sending the Porto, Portugal Champions League crowd into a frenzy.

Manchester manager Alex Ferguson told press, "To do it at that point in the game gave us a real platform to go into the game. We wanted to start the game quickly with good tempo ... but to get a start like that, no one can expect it, no one can expect that type of goal."

Earlier today (April 16) Cristiano was spotted returning to the UK with his Manchester United teammates sporting a dark suit with a red striped team tie.
