Corey Haim: Depressed in His Last Days

He had a well-known struggle with prescription drug addiction, and Corey Haim was having a rough time in the days leading up to his accidental overdose earlier this week.

Director Jensen LeFlore, who worked with Haim on “Decisions,” told press that Corey sounded upset during a recent phone conversation.

"That was the only time I really heard him down. His mom was all Corey had ... He was focused on taking care of his mom. They were living together. He wanted to take care of her."

Pal Angela Cullins added, "They spent a lot of time together. She was battling breast cancer. It was very stressful for him ... It was exhausting, but he took care of her when she needed him."
