Colin Farrell Takes a Break from His Papa Duties

Looking like he was on a mission, Colin Farrell was spotted walking in Los Angeles, CA on Friday afternoon (December 18).

The “In Bruges” actor didn’t seem pleased to see the paparazzi show up as he made his way to his destination after picking up a chilled coffee drink and a newspaper.

In other news, in the film “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” which hit theaters in October, Farrell took over for actor Heath Ledger who was originally cast, but passed away due to an overdose.

Of Colin’s performance, director Terry Gilliam says, “He’s much more magical and twinkly and he spins on a dime. I really loved the energy he brings to his scenes. It was an interesting and difficult thing to take over from Ledger, but Colin already looks like a Victorian melodramatic villain, which was perfect. With his widows peak and beetle brows and all of it.”
