Chris Brown: Due in Court Today

The next chapter in the case surrounding Chris Brown's physical abuse of Rihanna is set to take place today as the “Kiss Kiss” singer is scheduled to be arraigned on felony charges of assault and making criminal threats.

At today’s proceedings, Brown is actually expected to enter a plea, although he also has the option of asking for an extension for further time to make his case.

Depending on how things go for the 19-year-old superstar, he could face anywhere from a sentence of probation all the way up to four years in prison.

As far as Rihanna’s involvement, the “Take a Bow” songstress has pledged to cooperate with the police if she’s subpoenaed, however up to this point she hasn’t provided any evidence for the prosecution.
